Campaign 2002

A new survey and excavation campaign will begin in October 2002. The main aim is to survey and map the area around the preserved part of the hull. All artefacts in this area will be recorded and then removed. After conservation they will be presented in the Museum for Underwater Archaeology.
We use RIB?s and occasionally a larger dive boat, equipped with a water pump for water dredges to work on the site. This site will be updated monthly with new results from the ongoing campaign
